Meet the animals at Stronchullin

We find that the children who stay in our cottages love to meet the animals and this often provides a very memorable experience for them. 

The welfare of our animals and the children of our guests must come first so we require an adult to be present during any activities with the animals at all times to oversee the children.

Apart from our herds of sheep and Highland Cattle, we have a few pets on the farm, including Lucy the Llama, and our pet calf, Eilidh. I think you will agree that Highland Cattle calves are particularly cute. 

Our guests are very welcome to pay our pets a visit as long as there is an adult present.  We dont recommend that you pat Lucy the Llama but she will be very pleased if you bring her a banana!

Gather eggs for breakfast

When you arrive at Strochullin Holiday Cottages, your welcome pack contains our own free range eggs.  You can also buy eggs from the farm and if children are really keen we can let them help our farm staff to gather them.
